Personal data and cookies

This website gorrissenfederspiel.com (the ”Website”) is provided and owned by Gorrissen Federspiel Advokatpartnerselskab, Axeltorv 2, DK-1609 Copenhagen V, CVR no. 38 05 24 97 (“GF”).

Personal data

As a natural part of providing the Website, GF will as the data controller collect and process certain personal data concerning you as a user. GF will via the Website collect and process the following personal data:

  • email address
  • username and password
  • name
  • place of work
  • place of education
  • information contained in job applications and other documents uploaded to the Website in connection with the job application process.
  • IP address
  • information about your browser and your movements and behaviour on the Website

GF’s collection and processing of your personal data takes place based on legitimate interests in processing your personal data and we assess that GF’s interests in processing the personal data exceeds your interests.

GF’s legitimate interests consist in processing personal data in order to forward newsletters and other relevant information (if the user so specifically requests), in connection with the registration for and coordination of seminars, targeting our events at the relevant users and any contact in connection with job applications and registration in the CV data base (you will receive separate information about our processing of your personal data in connection with job applications and registration in the CV data base, when you send an application). Some data are collected by using cookies, see separate section on cookies above.

All your personal data will be treated in confidence and will only be used in compliance with the purposes stated above.

GF uses third party providers of IT and marketing services, and they will have access to and process your personal data on behalf of GF. If a third party provider processes your personal data outside the EU/EEA, this will take place based on the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You may request af copy of the agreement regulating the transfer of personal data by forwarding an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Unless GF under applicable law is required to store your personal data for a longer period of time, GF will store your personal data as follows: GF will store your personal data collected for the purpose of forwarding newsletters and other relevant information to you until you unsubscribe from the mailing list. Data collected in connection with registration for and coordination of seminars will be deleted not later than 6 months after the seminar in question has taken place. The data stored in cookies are deleted as set out below.

According to the data protection rules you have the following rights:

Right to insight. For more information about the personal data, which GF stores and processes about you, you can forward an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Right to object. You can always object to GF’s processing of your personal data by forwarding an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Right to have your data corrected. You can always request that your personal data be corrected by forwarding an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Right to have your data deleted. You can always request that your personal data be deleted by forwarding an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Right to restrict processing. You can always request that GF restricts the processing of your personal data, while a specific request is being processed, by forwarding an email to privacy@gorrissenfederspiel.com.

Complaints. If you wish to complain of GF’s processing of your personal data, you can contact the Danish Data Protection Agency.
